Davin Carr-ChellmanList Item 1
I am the father of Asher, Jules, and Aila (Davin and Aila pictured here), three remarkable teenagers moving far too quickly into adulthood. They are the best things I have done in life. Serendipity has been kind to me as well: I stumbled into my future wife, Ali, during a lunch meeting in September of 1997 and we married just a few months later, even though it took two Catholic priests and one Methodist pastor to convince her it was a good idea. Fortunately, God was on my side.
My personal and professional ambition is to be useful. I work hard at taking life seriously without taking myself too seriously. I believe that mechanical evolution peaked with the bicycle, that shape note singing is beautiful, and that all dogs go to heaven, even my parent’s pomeranian.
Lastly, I'm grateful and humbled that Michael Kroth trusts me to be useful to this great project of exploring profound living.

Carol Rogers-Shaw
What Carol enjoys most in life is being a wife to a wonderful husband, being a mother to two amazing daughters, and being followed everywhere she goes by Harper, her Siberian Husky. She also loves to read, write, and teach. She’s fortunate to be able to read Victorian mystery novels, research disability, explore memories, and write what’s on her mind amid the beauty of the Adirondacks at her home in Lake Placid. She is thrilled to share her life with a loving family, cherished friends, and inspiring colleagues who challenge her to think, to dream and to hope.
