One October Day

One October Day, Michael Kroth, Profound Living

October sun and air so clear you can reach out

and almost touch the mountains

it seems with the tip of your finger

girls' and boys' grassy parks

and dogs walking their men and women

round and round

lovers sit on striped

blankets, old towels,

anything, just to share

in October sun and air so clear

to be together in a world

of separateness

connected to each other

but also to the

boys and girls and dogs

and men and women of the park

one October day.
