Cueva Rocks in the Organ Mountains

"The power of nature is always impressive to me."

Here's one of my favorites...this is of the Cueva Rocks in the Organ Mountains east of Las Cruces. It was taken shortly before a deluge of rain hit. The power of nature is always impressive to me as is how much a scene can change given the time of day and weather. I'm always closer to God when I'm amidst his finest creations.

“The poor in spirit are by no means poor-spirited. They are persons who see so much to be, so much to do, such limitless reaches to life and goodness that they are profoundly conscious of their insufficiency and incompleteness.” ~Rufus Jones, The Inner Life , p. 19
