Gratitude and Generosity with the Garden City Public Library

Michael Kroth • January 28, 2021

Ali and I are so excited about this, which is available free on zoom. I have made it a point to support libraries, which are an essential part of democracy and all the people living in one. This is for the Garden City Public Library. Join us if you'd like, and please invite anyone or any groups you are a part of who might benefit.

Description:

Did you know that science is proving what we all know intuitively – that giving results in receiving? The key, according to Christian Smith and Hilary Davidson, authors of the book, The Paradox of Generosity: Giving We Receive, Grasping We Lose is to practice generosity.

Join Michael Kroth and Ali Threet from the University of Idaho, who are studying generosity and its relationship to gratitude, as we explore in this workshop what it means to practice generosity and gratitude in our daily lives.

Thursday, February 4th, Noon (Mountain Time)

Free, One Hour, Zoom
